OPTIROB 2012

The robotics team of the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania, intent to organise between 21-23 June 2012, the 7-th edition of the IEEE/IACSIT International Conference on Optimisation of the Robots and Manipulators- OPTIROB2012. The conference will be sponsored by the IEEE and IACSIT International Associations and will be held under the high tutelage of the Romanian Academy of Technical Sciences. All accepted papers will be published in the conference Proceedings by Trans Tech Publishing Inc. from Switzerland and will be included in XExplore and indexing by Ei Compendex, INSPEC and ISI Thomson. The conference will be included in IEEE and IACSIT conferences calendar and will be possible on-line following the stage of the indexing process.

The main objective of the conference is to bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the fields of interest from Romania and from around the world in order to:
- provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals to present their latest experiences and developments activities in the field of Robotics;
- provide opportunities for attendees to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.
