LAA - How to Close the Left Atrial Appendage 2011

Left Atrial Appendage closure for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation has been shown to be at least as effective as anticoagulation therapy. Two devices have CE mark and many others are already in clinical trials. This course is designed to provide an overview on all aspects of this treatment modality, from its background to current clinical data, how to perform the procedure and how to deal with complications.
