Conxemar, the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Manufacturers and Exporters of Fish products and Fish farming is consolidated as an essential instrument to join the frozen products sector in our country.
The 252 companies which make up the association, support its capacity of representation and defence of the interests of its associates and sector on a nation wide basis and international.
Objectives
The main aim of CONXEMAR is to represent and defend the interests of its members and the sector at a european, national and regional level.
The association takes part with its own voice as a member of the Fisheries Consultative Committee of Spain and professional associations AIPCE / CEP (European Association of Fish Processors and Traders), the CEOE (Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations) and FIAB (Spanish Federation of Industries Food and Beverages)
principal aims are as follows:
• Promote and defend the free market system, as part of the economy.
• Represent the sector in front of public or private institutions and organizations at a european and national level.
• The promotion of all kinds of marketing campaigns of the consumption of frozen products and in particular those associated with fishing.
• Improve the competitiveness of our associates by means of organizing professional conferences and seminars, the publication of the magazine and any other activity that contribute to reach the aims of the Association
