Jan and Per Broman, who have both been long in the photo industry saw the growing need for a venue for photo enthusiasts. Both the workers, semi-professional and amateur photographers. In today's society is an amateur photographer to anyone. All have a pocket camera, digital camera and or a camera phone. Anyone can now take the picture. This we see daily examples of the newspapers.
First Photo Fair was held at Factory Nacka Strand. The fair attracted 9500
visitors. Other years in Nacka increased visitor numbers to 12,000 and it was clear that it needed larger quarters. Photo Fair 2008 was held for the first time at the Stockholm International Fairs and pulled amazing 17,000 visitors. Fair 2008 was hugely appreciated.
