Europ ART - International Art Fair 2009

europ’art’09, the international art show of Geneva, will take place from April 22-26, 2009 in Hall 2 of Geneva Palexpo. This vintage year of 2009 will mark the 18th edition of this event, and the first to be organised entirely by the highly professional team of Geneva Palexpo. While remaining loyal to the original concepts which have formed the basis of its success since 1992, europ’art’09 will introduce additional features to better serve the needs of its exhibitors. For example, a new arrangement of the stands will optimise the presentation of the works of art and facilitate a more convivial atmosphere. There will be an intensification of the communications about the event, and an international committee of experts will be established to help ensure an even higher level of quality of the exhibitions. europ’art’09 plans to offer to its many visitors a panorama of contemporary artistic creation, in full support of the emergence of promising and talented young artists. There will be a completely open spirit and atmosphere so that this event’s delights will be accessible to an unlimited number of fortunate collectors and enthusiasts, a refreshing change from the formal “cliquishness” of some grand exhibitions. The International Book and Press Show, which every year attracts some 100,000 visitors, will take place at the same time in Halls 4 and 5, thus creating an exceptional cultural environment at Geneva Palexpo during this period.
