The 6th annual Transmission & Distribution Smart Grids Asia returns to Bangkok this November 29-30 with the theme “Ensuring reliable and efficient supply while laying the foundations for a future-proof power system”.

T&D utilities in the region are all in a race where the “prize” at the finishing line is a modern and future-proof power system. To reach the finishing line, utilities have to overcome many hurdles including:

• Regulatory environment
• Information technology (IT) and Operational technology (OT) convergence• Security
• Communications
• Dealing with current issues of reliable and efficient supply of power
