TURF International Convention on the Business of Sports 2010

As the title suggests FICCI “TURF 2010” is the two day Summit on the Business of Sports- Commonwealth & Beyond. As a Commonwealth Games hosting country, this summit would provide opportunities to discuss about the various aspects of Business of Sports during & Beyond Commonwealth Games 2010. This Summit is a curtain raiser for the Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi. FICCI believes that Indian Sports Industry is at very nascent stage. This is the time we should grab a huge untapped market in terms of its pool as well as its market value.

The sports industry is a big business all over the world. The Industry in total contributed $7.9 billion to the Australian economy. Sports related activities in England reached up to £15.47 billion in 2005. Sport is also the 13th largest contributor to the US economy.
