Improving the Quality of Human Resources Management Practices
It is always said that the strongest asset of any organization is its people. This cannot be truer than in the Federal government where most of its employees consider their commitment to public service as a long-term career choice, and not just an interim occupation. Recruitment and retention of the Nation’s brightest and talented workforce is an important, constant undertaking that needs to continuously evolve as the workforce’s knowledge, skills, and needs evolve and progress.
Human Capital Management: Federal (HCMF) 2010 provides an interactive training forum for human resources directors and agency leaders to share important human resource strategies, talent management best practices, innovative approaches to recruiting top talent, and implementing best-in-class employee retention strategies.
HCMF 2010 aims to support the OPM’s 5-year Strategic Plan 2010-2015 to help reinforce the goals – hire the best, expect the best, respect the workforce and honor service – which every Federal agency aspires to implement and achieve.
