It will focus on choices and decision making for those delivering programmes and the eligible population, and the role in which screening plays in early diagnosis and prevention of cancer. Objectives: To update delegates on screening for cancer in the UK, the role of the National Screening Committee and new developments on the horizon. To encourage debate around the balance of benefits and harms of screening. To discuss the importance of informed decision making and how we work to ensure invited people can make an informed decision. Who should attend: Health professionals with an interest in screening and the early diagnosis and prevention of cancer. Third sector partners with an interest in cancer and cancer screening. Colleagues with an interest in public information and informed choice. Early bird rates are available until Tuesday 17 May 2016.
