July 28 - 29, 2015    Sydney , Australia
In the wake of the hepatitis A outbreak linked with foreign frozen berries early this year the government has announced plans to develop guidelines to overhaul food labelling laws in Australia. The topic has gained many column inches in recent weeks as government and industry alike grapple with the boundaries of labelling laws in this country. As this debate continues a forum is needed for all industry players to come together and discuss food regulation and labelling laws in Australia.

Informa is excited to announce it will be running the Food Regulations and Labelling Standards Conference 2015 at the Parkroyal Darling Harbour on the 28th and 29th July this year. A firm favourite in past years with the industry, the aim of the conference is to bring food regulators and industry players together to discuss food labelling standards and regulations and the safe and efficient delivery of produce to the Australian market.

Through a series of keynote addresses, panel discussions, interactive mini-workshops and case studies you will hear from government, the regulator and state based bodies, as well as key industry players and manufacturers on the topic. The group will discuss the current state and future direction of food regulation and labelling standards in Australia.

As the debate continues, don?t miss your chance to be part of the conversation.

Topics to be examined include:

An update on the introduction of tighter country of origin food labelling rules
Building brand Australia
Setting the standards for food labelling and country of origin percentages
Management of product recalls
