September 7 - 8, 2015    london , United Kingdom
We are delighted to invite you to our 2 day conference on Chronic Cough and COPD 2015, chaired by Dr Rachel Garrod

DAY 1- Chronic Cough - multidisciplinary management

With an estimated prevalence of 12%, refractory chronic cough is an increasing challenge in the NHS. Furthermore, chronic cough accounts for around 40% of respiratory out-patient visits.

Until now there have been relatively few effective treatments for the condition, but recent research supports new pharmacological therapies and non-pharmacological approaches, such as physiotherapy and speech and language management.

This innovative conference will equip delegates with the practical skills and advanced knowledge to help them apply cost effective and evidenced based treatment within the context of a modern day NHS.

DAY 2- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease – multidisciplinary management

As the prevalence of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) increases with an increasing ageing population, the need to provide an effective, integrated management approach is paramount. This is particularly true for approaches that address the direct symptoms of COPD, such as dyspnoea, and co-morbidities associated with the condition.

This evidenced-based conference addresses the myriad of problems associated with COPD and will provide delegates with extended knowledge regarding service delivery, treatments, pharmocolgical advances and much more.

Both days are suitable for nurses, allied health professionals and medical practitioners. Delegates can attend one or both days depending upon clinical relevance. Delegates will be equipped with knowledge directly pertaining to the clinical situation, and skills directly relevant to the problems encountered by patients.

Topics will be covered:
Prevalence and diagnosis of chronic cough
Reflux related cough
Medical management of Cou
