The GCC Medication Safety Congress will help bring back vital focus on the relevance of pharmacovigilance, identification and reporting of adverse events, medication reconciliation and many other measures in the pursuit of patient safety. The congress will familiarise attendees with the medication safety systems internationally and in the Gulf. Highlighting fundamentals of medication errors, the congress covers a variety of topics including improving medication safety infrastructure, medication reconciliation, psychotropic agent safety, expedited reporting, dealing with high alert medication and more. It will focus on promoting dialogue amongst regulators, medical professionals and pharmaceutical companies to ensure patient safety in the MENA region.
