March 11 - 12, 2015    london , United Kingdom
This event will offer delegates the opportunity to consider the latest developments in the regulation and risk management of ULGPs and the market impacts of such development.

As the insurance industry strives to meet growing demand for innovative pension solutions, Unit Linked Guaranteed Products (ULGPs) have the potential to provide for clients' changing needs. Due to the complex nature of these products it is crucial that practitioners stay ahead of the regulatory, and industry wide developments which effect them.

In the UK, an announcement this March stating that retirees would no longer be required to buy an annuity with their pension pot has affected sales of these products dramatically. However, ULGPs can still provide for the needs of investors and newly developed variable, and fixed term products are tipped for success in the UK.

This event will offer delegates the opportunity to hear from a number of industry practitioners from a wide variety of backgrounds.

- Understanding of the broader issues facing those providing unit-linked guarantees.
- Insights on the American and Japanese Variable annuities markets and the lessons which can be taken from there.
- Awareness of new ULGPs; what they offer to consumers and the risk management implications.
- Ability to apply ICPPI to unit-linked guarantees.
- Knowledge of regulatory expectations for unit-linked guarantees products and how to work in line with these.
- Appreciation of how Equity Indexed Annuities are structured and the benefits and drawbacks of these products.
