Contrary to popular belief, many alternative medical techniques are used every day by people from all walks of life. While the term “alternative medicine” may conjure up exotic images, most are probably familiar. The next Young Garvan forum hosts an expert panel to discuss the potential, the promise and the current challenges associated with complementary and alternative therapies and how they compare with modern medicine. The panellists will also share their latest advances in this area of research.

Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Sydney.
