Land Access Forum 2014

As part of our comprehensive mining and energy event series we would like to announce the 5th Annual Land Access Forum on the 27-28 August 2014 at the Royal on the Park, Brisbane.The event will provide an overview and forum for discussion of key development and issues surrounding land access for mining and petroleum exploration. Resources demand and increasing energy requirements means that more resources must be sourced. Increasing exploration and developing extraction methods has resulted in calls for an overhaul and modernisation of the current legislations and frameworks to assist in preventing legal disputes, protect investment and ensure community engagement and social licence.The 5th annual Land Access Forum will bring together Government departments, coal, CSG, UCG mining and exploration companies, mining and petroleum industry associations, landholders, law firms and consultants to discuss the new and emerging regulatory reforms, practicalities, challenges, and future directions of land access.
