The 3rd Annual Base Oil and Lubes Middle East Conference (BLM 2014) will be jointly organized by Conference Connection and Petrosil in Dubai on 16-17 April 2014. The event will continue to build on last year’s success and strong performance - the agenda will provide a good spread of topics, high caliber speakers, quality presentations, premium networking opportunities and will act as a platform for the exchange of ideas, information and discussion for the base oil and lubricant industry.
The distinguished faculty will look at the major suppliers in the region and their production capacity, base oil grades and their future expansion plans/requirements. The high base oil price volatility and impact of the global economic recession on base oil and lubricant demand will be covered as well as other supply/demand factors and their impact on trade. Themed “New Capacity and Impact on Global Demand and Supply Dynamics” the conference provides insights into the changing base oil and lubricant market picture and the resultant new challenges and opportunities.
Profiling the transformation of the Middle East as an important supply hub, BLM 2014 will run back to back with the 22nd Annual Middle East Petroleum and Gas Conference (MPGC 2014). MPGC 2014 is the foremost and longest running annual oil conference in the Middle East and is held during the Middle East Petroleum & Gas Week (MEOW) with ENOC as hosts. There will be six events in just 6 days and over 500 participants are expected at MPGC/MEOW 2014.
The presence of senior decision makers from global oil and gas companies at MPGC 2014 will greatly enhance the networking and information exchange opportunities at BLM 2014, which is expected to draw wide attendance from the region’s key lube, base oil and additive manufacturers, exporters, importers, traders, re-refiners, shippers as well as storage and packaging companies.
