KazAgro/ KazFarm - International Exhibition for Agriculure and Animal Husbandry 2014

The Kazakh agricultural market has not yet exploited its full potential. The agricultural area of Kazakhstan comprises 80 m hectare, among them 25 m hectare farmland and about 50 m hectare pastures. Due to the low degree of mechanization the crop yields are way below its potential. To increase the productivity the government subsidizes the agricultural industry. Until 2020, up to 15 billion Euro are to be invested in this sector. The country is a large sales market especially for agricultural engineering - since there is no competitive local machinery production - as well as equipment and products for animal husbandry and for the meat and dairy industry.
