In 2014, Tripoli Food & Pack Show will be increased and held in 5 different halls: 1 hall for food industry, 2 halls for packaging and food processing industries, 1 hall for bakery and equipments industries and 1 hall for machinery industry.
Libya has begun some market-oriented reforms recent years. Among the initial steps taken are applying for membership of the World Trade Organisation, reducing subsidies, and announcing plans for privatisation. After revolution, a resconstruction period has started. Many government-run industries are being privatised.
