Trade fairs good for your health

Almost 2000 trade fair guests attended the REHMED-PLUS 2012 in order to become familiar with the latest development put on display by the exhibitors as well as to take part in the admission-free conferences and workshops and to make use of a whole array of medical tests available here free of charge.

The Fair of Rehabilitation, Therapy & Care REHMED-PLUS is the continuation of the REHMED-EXPO, the fair with a well established tradition of over a dozen years. Following the market demand as well as the suggestions of the trade fair exhibitors and visitors the event organisers resolved to change the name of the fair and, as a natural consequence, expand its branch range. For the first time this year’s REHMED-PLUS has also encompassed the Log-term Care Exhibition – a new offer targeted at producers, distributors and users of rehabilitation equipment as well as at the sector of medical equipment and appliances for elderly people care as well as palliative care and medicine.

REHMED-PLUS This year’s ubiquity of offers put on display by the exhibitors encompassed a whole array of novelties and presentations of the modern equipment in operation; the REHMED-PLUS was also complemented with the specialists’ meetings, scientific sessions and workshops as well as sport competitions which integrated disabled and fully-able sports people. For the sixth time the trade fair was accompanied by the Integration Run organised by the Sports and Rehabilitation Association START. “All those who join us at the start line, who will set off for the race – they are already the winners” said Krzysztof Głobmowicz; a journalist; addressing over 223 contestants at the start of the Integration Race. The event has been organised for six years and has become the tradition of the REHMED-PLUS trade fair.
