Dermatologic Surgery: Focus on Skin Cancer will highlight the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer,
incorporating a variety of vital topics for dermatologic surgeons. Due to the extreme effectiveness of Mohs surgery for the treatment of certain skin cancers, special emphasis will be placed on this technique and the reconstruction of Mohs surgical defects.
Microscope laboratory sessions will feature challenging Mohs and other dermatopathologist-provided “unknown” cases, with interpretive assistance available by experienced lab faculty. Small-group microscope lab sessions will serve to reinforce key histopathology concepts.
This educational activity is designed to present physicians with practical approaches and methodologies in the treatment of skin cancer. Our overall objective is for participants to be able to incorporate relevant research findings and new surgical/reconstructive approaches into their practices, leading to improved patient outcomes.
The Memorial Day weekend schedule will allow physicians to participate in an enriching CME program while enjoying the
amenities of one of the Southwest’s finest resorts. The Hyatt Regency Tamaya features a wealth of relaxing personal and family-oriented activities, with a variety of special events planned for this “summer kick-off” holiday celebration
