Since the creation of the SFD, then ALFEDIAM there 40 years, Congress has become a crossroads where all actors diabetes, doctors, allied health professionals, researchers, students, industry, associations, with recent years 4500 participants. The conference is also a great showcase of our learned society activities, in particular with the delivery of prestigious awards and research grants.

The SFD has a Francophone Foundation for Research in Diabetology whose objective is to support major projects. Paris 2014 will undoubtedly have the opportunity to discover the first programs funded.
