Jerusalem International Conference on Health Policy 2013

This conference takes place at a time when societies and governments are still reeling from the after effects of the financial crisis that created conditions of recession and exposed underlying weaknesses in the world economic system. Health systems not only have not been spared. But, beyond the need to consider ways of dealing with austerity, they can also play a leading role in contributing to social vitality and development of new modes of policy, regulation and management that can cope with new realities.

Every 3 years, The Israel national institute for health policy research (NIHP) holds an international conference including guest speakers and research presentations concerning a relevant theme occupying the international healthcare community. Over the course of three days, a variety of Parallel Sessions and Plenary Sessions will be held, under one roof, in the ICC’s different halls. Approximately 400 participants are expected to take part in the conference, Including Leading experts in management and governance, health economics, health policy and regulation, population health and quality from Israel, USA, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, India, Netherlands, Kenya, Macedonia, Sweden, Norway, France and UK.
