January 16 - 18, 2013    NO CITY , Myanmar
Myanmar has just announced an offering of 23 offshore blocks for hydrocarbon exploration, inclusive of 17 deepwater blocks and 6 shallow water blocks in the Rakhine, Mottama, and Tanintharyi offshore areas in the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea.

The government’s determination of promoting the domestic offshore E&P sector to the international investors makes Myanmar the next exploration hotspot in the Southeast Asia region. Myanmar’s proven reserves are estimated at 50 million bbl of oil and 283.2 Bcm of natural gas, which generates massive opportunities for operators, contractors, and services providers to explore in the years to come.
Offshore Convention: Myanmar 2013, as a brand new extension of OC Asia Series Events, will be held on 16-18 January, 2013 in Yangon, Myanmar. The event will get together 200+ participants and it will serve as a great platform for government officials, oil majors, independents, contractors and other industrial players to share experiences and to network for business opportunities.
OC Asia Series Events have been hosted in Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, and China in last four years and it has proved itself as the MUST-ATTEND event for companies looking at exploring new business opportunities in emerging offshore E&P markets in the Asia Pacific region.
We sincerely welcome you to join us at OC Myanmar 2013!
