Trans-disciplinary conference on early childhood development and education will be held on Cape Town South Africa, 17 and 18 July 2012

Realising seven of the eight millennium development goals will have a direct impact on the wellbeing of young children and the communities in which they live.

Key Objectives

The primary objective is to provide a collegial forum for advocating the link between the millennium development goals (MDGs) and Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE), thus create opportunities for individuals and organisations to network and establish collegial relationships. The outcome would be more constructive focus on achieving the MDGs through work that focuses on the health and wellbeing of young children.
