The 52nd Annual Meeting of the GEWISOLA held from 26 to 28 September 2012 in Hohenheim place. The conference theme is: "Challenges of Global Change on Agricultural Development and Food Security".
Founded in 1959, Society for Economic and Social Sciences has the aim of agriculture
To promote teaching and research in the field of economic and social sciences of agriculture,
the exchange of scientific knowledge and experience between the members of the society and to maintain domestic and foreign institutions of similar character and
to serve the discussion of scientific problems.
The company has around 400 members. These are mainly engaged in science in universities and research institutes, in government, business and agricultural science and practice in counseling as an agricultural economists and rural sociologists.
