The current global food system is high on everyone’s agenda, from politicians and scientists to major food companies. The food industry is consuming the world’s natural resources at an unsustainable rate as critical resources such as water, energy and land become increasingly scarce as it struggles to feed a growing population.

Redoubling global efforts to address hunger must be a priority and developing more sustainable food supply chains must be achieved, for example by contributing to climate change mitigation and encouraging biodiversity.

One consequence of this is the increasingly volatile commodity markets which look set to be with us for some time. So how are food and farming businesses adapting to the volatile landscape?

Come to EFFP’s 8th annual conference and join over 300 directors, managers, owners and influencers at one of London’s newest venues, the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel.
