AdvaMed 2011 attracts an international audience and as such, we welcome proposals addressing international medical technology subjects. We also warmly welcome proposals that include (or specifically target) diagnostics-related, as well as medical information technology, issues and trends.

AdvaMed 2011 conference program committee encourages and welcomes panel submissions addressing timely, relevant, novel, and insightful topics that feature expert and dynamic speakers. Among other topics of interest in the 21st Century Healthcare Track would be submissions addressing manufacturing competitiveness and policy related to MedTech in:

-Export, Science and/or Technology
-New opportunities in global markets i.e. impact of Korea-US Free Trade Agreement, the Latin Market, etc.
-Harmonization of medical device standards within Europe and European regulatory issues surrounding the introduction and approval of medical devices
-Implementation of electronic health care records (EHRs), its impact to the health care system and the device industry, and what device manufacturers can do to align with this movement to improve patient safety and to create greater efficiencies in the health care industry.
-New trends and or policies outside the U.S
