On the EU summit in Madrid, The European Aviation Vision 2050 program was launched. It will prepare sector for the new challenges. IATA says that until 2050, there will be 16 billion people using air transport. Also 400 million tons of cargo will be transported. Just in there will be 25 millions of flights yearly.
From the analysis it can be seen that air traffic demand is doubled every 15 years. With the growth of passengers in the future, the new technical improvements will be needed, to serve growing air transport, meeting environment and climate security.
