Operational Risk Management: Beyond Compliance 2011

This workshop offered by UNI Strategic is aimed at participants who are involved in implementing Basel Accords in their Operational Risk department. In this workshop, we will cover every aspects of Basel II from understanding ICAAP to discovering the key implications in Basel III and how this can impact the overall banking industry around the world. Since Basel III is still at its infant stage, this will be a good opportunity for participants to gain an insight into the introduction of Basel III and the differences between Basel II and Basel III.

This workshop is designed to provide a broad overview of risk management from a bank’s perspective, with a few comparisons with risk management in other professions, and with a particular focus on regulatory aspects of banking risk management, taking as wide as possible a critical post-credit-crunch perspective. The trainer will go in detail on credit crunch and the essentials for participants to survive a credit crunch disaster. This workshop is highly interactive with many group discussions and practical exercises being discussed with the participants to provide them with a better overview of the ORM sector.
