THE OCEAN 2011 is The First International Exhibition to be held in Moscow, from November 30 to December 2, 2011.
The Exhibition main purpose is to create an ideal business platform to share the advanced experience and up-to-date information in all fields of the World Ocean utilization and protection.
The Ocean is a unique place of concentration of major economic, scientific and technical activities of many states, transnational corporations, international organizations and associations and, simultaneously, the point of intersection of their interests. Ocean spaces and resources development and exploration is one of the main national policy trends of leading maritime powers. The urgency of this problem has been growing every year due to the increasing role of the ocean as the most promising area of business activity and political influence.
The Exhibition aims to consolidate the activities of governmental organizations, academic and business communities as well as to strengthen international cooperation, scientific and innovative collaboration in solving problems of the Ocean research, effective utilization of its resources, climate monitoring, transport communications development, controlling over environmental situation, natural and man-caused emergencies, etc.
