The 7th Annual World Forum for Ethics in Business Symposium gathers international leaders in business, politics, NGO, and education at the European Parliament in Brussels, 18-19 November, 2010. The theme is “Leadership in the 21st Century – Time for a Paradigm Shift?”

The high level forum will gather again international leaders in business, politics, NGO and educational sectors and administration at the European Parliament in Brussels.

Over the last seven years the forum has examined whether business and ethics are complementary or contradictory, and explored new ways for business leaders to evolve leadership styles that are sustainable and socially responsible, yet profitable for their organisations. This year’s symposium seeks to move to another level of broadening and deepening impact through scaled-up actions. An overarching theme will be on the crucial need for visionary, inspirational and skilful leadership to navigate ethical and profitable business in post-crisis recovery.

Mr. Niels Christiansen, Member of the European Parliament, Mr. Nirj Deva, Vice-President responsible for Public Affairs of Nestle, Prof. Vytautas Landsbergis, Former Prime Minister of Lithuania, Prof. Ruud Lubbers, Former Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Prof. Michael Luger, Dean of the Manchester Business School, Mr. Luis Moreno-Ocampo, Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and Mr. Gilbert Ondongo, Finance Minister Congo and H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder of the International Association for Human Values are among the key speakers who will address the forum.
