In surveys of investors, emerging markets are consistently voted as most likely to outperform in the long run. However, there is often a great deal of misunderstanding among investors as to the true risks they face when accessing these rapidly expanding markets.

The Investment Week Global Emerging Markets Focus will seek to educate and inform investors as to the true risks and rewards they can expect as they allocate both debt and equity portions of their portfolios to emerging economies.

The conference will bring together five leading players in the emerging market space to share their expertise and to show how this dynamic asset class will continue to deliver in today’s markets.

Delegates will have the chance to question and discuss key issues with industry experts from Aberdeen Asset Management, JO Hambro Capital Management, Jupiter Asset Management, Lazard Asset Management and Neptune Investment Management.

Boardroom sessions will run in five simultaneous groups with the delegates remaining in their allocated seminar rooms and the speakers moving sequentially between rooms to deliver their presentations to each group in turn. With a maximum of 10 delegates per room, this will allow attendees to be more involved in discussions with the speakers and examine global emerging markets.
