It is vital to an organization to address process safety in order to drive the safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of an operation. Also, in the current climate, with volatile oil and gas prices it is equally important to avoid costly, unplanned shutdowns and spills.
Hazards are prevented by firstly building safety into a process, and then keeping the facility operating safely throughout its life cycle, by identifying process hazards and providing the necessary controls over the life of the process.
