The food and drinks industry will gather at the City of Phnom Penh for CamFood 2010 - the 1st International Food & Drinks Industry Show in Cambodia. Held at the new Diamond Island Convention & Exhibition Center from 21-23 October 2010, CamFood 2010 is designed to cater to the fast growing food and drinks industry.
The demand for imported food and drinks has seen substantial growth in recent years spurred on by
• Increasing income level
• Rapid growth in the number of hotel, restaurants and catering outlets
• Strong growth in the number of tourist arrivals. In 2008, an impressive 2.125 million international tourist arrivals was recorded -representing an impressive growth of 5.5% over 2007
• There are over 60 star rated hotels in Cambodia with the majority located in Phnom Penh. In addition, there are hundreds of hotels and guesthouses catering to budget travellers.
