Knitting industry is developing rapidly that had equal shares with woven garments' export during 2001-2005 and soared prodigiously in 2006-2009. A series of real data of Chinese knitting garments confirms the strength of their own. Besides the growth in the quantity, the raise of export price per unit also shows Chinese knitting garments are no longer willing to act as low-cost products. From OEM to ODM, transformation and upgrade of knitting industry have been launched.

Exhibition is the vane in its industry. China International Knitting Trade Fair is duly to help enterprises explore worldwide markets, establish networks of wide range of customers and marketing channels and create a leading platform by releasing fashion trends and new products.

Creating a High Level of Brand Exhibition is an adhered idea of China International Knitting Trade Fair from its beginning till now. From 2007 to 2009, the fair developed steadily each year. In 2009, even under the global financial crisis influence, the fair still ushered in a breakthrough increase of 33.6% in the number of exhibitors amounted to 163 covering all domestic knitting leading brands. Last year, the fair appealed 11,867 buyers from 99 countries and regions, which grew 21.2% compared with 2008, including presence of internationally renowned buyers such as Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Metro Group, France's Louis Vuitton International Holdings (HK) Co., Ltd., Japan's UNIQLO Co., Ltd., El Corte Ingles, Decathlon Group, DuPont China Holding Co., Ltd., etc..
