Annual Emergency Radiology Symposium 2012

Acutely ill adult and pediatric patients are arriving at the emergency room in greater numbers than ever before. Radiologists and emergency medicine physicians need regular educational updates to maintain optimal competence in the utilization of the most reliable imaging modalities and best-practice strategies, even for unusual conditions. One-third of the lectures will be dedicated to plain films and the remainder will stress state-of-the-art emergency imaging of the central nervous system, chest, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and abdominal areas.
