Peterborough Book Fair - July 2012
8 July, 2012

Missing Book Fairs has been established since 1994 and in that time have organized over 400 events. The name was derived from the organizer’s – Chris Missing. It seemed fitting, as you are quite likely to find some of the books you are ‘missing’ when you come to one of the fairs!
A book fair is a gathering together in one place of a number of booksellers. Each stall will be run by a different dealer, some of whom may specialize in one field, e.g. first edition fiction or aviation, others may bring a general selection of subjects. Thus the customer gets to view a wide range of books without having to go from bookshop to bookshop.
