Banking Vietnam Conference & Expo 2012

The Information Technology Department of the Bank – State Bank of Vietnam and the International Data Group are pleased to invite you to the 15th Banking Vietnam on 22 – 24 May 2015 at Grand Plaza Hanoi Hotel, Hanoi, Vietnam.

Year 2012 has been stressed as a crucial year in obtaining the strategice growth objectives for banking sector in 2011 – 2015 set by the State Bank of Vietnam’s Governor. The ultimate aims of restructuring banking sector are to enhance the governance capabilities and banking services quality so that under-performanced banks should be eliminated. Furthermore, aiming towards to a modern banking sector, The State Bank of Vietnam continues to push up Non-cash Payment Project. According to this project, by 2015, cash payment ratio in the economy will be reduced to lower than 11%, 30 – 40% of the citizens will have access to banking services. Card payment and e-payment will be continued to be the focus of non-cash payment. By 2015, 250.000 POS will be available in the market and 200 million banking transactions will be carried out per year.
