The 4th International exhibition and scientific conference «The Basic Trends of Development of Electric Power Industry of Turkmenistan 2011» will be held in the exhibition center of Ashgabat «Sergi Koshgi» 8 - 10 September, 2010.

Ministry of Energy and Industry of Turkmenistan was established on January 26, 1995. The task of the ministry is providing electricity to the national economy and population, its exports and the construction, operation and repair of power stations and networks, development of engineering. The structure of the ministry includes state-owned electricity corporation "Turkmenenergo" concern "Turkmenenergogurlushyk and Turkmenmashingurlushyk, inistitut" Turkmenenergotaslama, State Energy Institute and the folklore-ethnographic studio.
