Infrastructure Libya 2012 – the Inter- national Exhibition for Libya’s Rebuilding Programme – is set to take place 23-26 April 2012 at Tripoli’s International Fairground.
The Organisers are in consultation with the Libya National Transitional Council, now internationally recognised as the legitimate conduit to the country’s future governance.
The Council has established immediate priorities which include rebuilding the Country’s infrastructure which has been neglected in recent years and which further suffered during the conflict.
Libya is calling on the international export community to bring much needed expertise and technology to the market across a broad range of sectors, not least:
- building & construction
- public works & municipal engineering
- power & electricity
- transport & communications
- water & environment
- safety & security
The recent freeing up of US$100 billion of Libya’s previously frozen assets will immediately contribute to the country's reconstruction plans.
Infrastructure Libya 2012 follows the success of previous exhibitions organised by Dar Alarab in association with Montgomery Libya Ltd, including Project Libya and Oil & Gas Libya.

Location: Tripoli International Fair Ground
Tripoli International Fair is located on Omar Muktar Street, Tripoli, on an area of land of more of 90,000 square meters, where 40,000 of which are covered stands and the remainder is uncovered..
