Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show - International Exhibition for Machine Tools, Sheet Metal, Pi 2010

Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS), Industrial Automation Show (IAS) and Energy Show (ES) of China International Industry Fairs 2009 lowered the curtain today at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The five-day event totally attracted 1,021 exhibitors with a display area of 75,000 sq m, seeing an excellent turnout of over 90,000 registered visitors on-site. These figures really signed positive amid the economic downturn.

“We are quite satisfied with this result. The shows were held in the difficult time, but the good report did not dampen confidence and hope among participants. China as a big economic power reacts to the financial crisis very rapidly and we are seeing the marketing is recovering and warming. So we are still confidence in our brand shows in Shanghai which provide a mega-platform for exhibitors presenting their innovations and clinch business with buyers,” said Dr. Andreas Gruchow, Member of the Deutsche Messe Managing Board.

World leading enterprises from the fields of metalworking, automation and energy technology all made their way to the Asian must-attend industrial feast along with their state-of-the-art technologies and products.
