Le Comptoir delémontain was founded in 1967 by a committee of five people led by Hans Roth. The company SA entered into force the same year.
The Board of Directors has appointed an umbrella organization headed by a director - currently Jacques-André Roth - which aims to organize the Fair Jura (or counter delémontain), being held in Halle exhibitions rue Emile-Boéchat (instead of the old site: place the post in the old town).
