Nation’s capital to serve as host to 2010 Clinical Congress
It’s never too early to start planning for the annual Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons, and the 96th annual conference is scheduled for October 3–7, 2010, in Washington DC. 2010 marks the first time the College’s annual meeting has ever been held in the nation’s capital. ACS event planners believe this is the ideal time to convene the Clinical Congress in Washington, DC, as the College works towards achieving a more visible presence on Capitol Hill. Nearly all educational sessions will be held in the new, state-of-the-art Walter E. Washington Convention Center and the host hotel, the Washington Marriott Wardman Park—which has hosted a long list of US presidents, dignitaries, and other VIPs, and features 16 acres of gardens, an outdoor swimming pool, and sundeck.
