Madrid returns to host the biggest international meeting of the Spanish book industry with the celebration of the 31st edition of LIBER, International Book Fair, held from 2 to 4 October 2013.
With Chile as Guest of Honor, the Fair close commercial and cultural ties with one of the main destinations for Spanish exports in Latin America, along with Mexico, Colombia, United States and Argentina, which occurred in the last year an increase of about 5% in sales turnover. Thus, Chile will be starring in the next edition, which represents a unique opportunity to present the excellent publishing Chilean Spanish publishers and readers.
Also, to the remarkable increase in the number of digital titles published -576% in the last two years, the fair returns to incorporate DIGITAL LIBER, a space dedicated to these new formats.
The 12,000 visitors from 62 countries participating in the latest edition LIBER again confirmed as the main platform for the book sector business dedicated to the Spanish-language edition, and one of the most important international meetings
