SOLARTECH is the International Fair on Concentrating and Thermal Solar Power. the event dedicated to renewable energies, environmental sustainability, the fight against climate changes and emission trading, which in 2010 was attended by more than 500 companies from 31 countries, representing four continents, and with 27,200 registered visitors.
SOLARTECH 2011 stems from the positive experience and results of the three editions of CSP EXPO – the International Fair on the Technologies and the Industry of Concentrating Solar Power – and will expand its horizons to the thermal solar power, a sector with about 1.4 GWth of installed power in Italy, equal to almost 2 million sq.m. These figures make Italy the second market in Europe.
