The widely recognized 6th Hortus Flower Arrangement Cup and Flower Arrangement Marathon also takes place during the exhibiton.

During the fair, beside the introduction of nurseries and horticultural stores, the most important event is the Hungarian Garden Designing Competition 2010, organized by the Hungarian Association of Garden Designers (MAKEOSZ) and Hortus Hungaricus. The aim of the competition is to display new trends and the masterpieces of garden designers. The gardens built on the spot by the best of garden designers and landscapers will be qualified.

Hortus Hungaricus exhibition offers possibilities for the meeting of producers, distributors, experts of technology and transfer during which important problems can be discussed and national and international business contacts can be established. Exhibitors can also display their product range.

Exhibited products: Cut flowers, pot plants, dried flowers, nursery products, medical herbs and spices, landscape and park architecture, fresh and processed fruits and their propagation materials, fresh and processed vegetables and their propagation materials, fertilizers, plant protection agents, production substrates, horticultural equipment, machinery, technologies, packaging materials, horticultural production tools, decorative ceramics, hanging pots.
