Award-winning actor John O'Hurley, best known for playing J. Peterman on "Seinfeld," will be the evening's host as the Society celebrates its 100 years of leadership in motion-imaging innovation and creativity. Join your friends and industry colleagues for this once in a lifetime celebration. Over the past century, SMPTE has been a leader in technology innovation and creativity. It began with the nascent motion picture industry and has grown to include television, and now the internet. The Centennial Gala is our opportunity to reflect on the Society and its impact from 1916 to 2016 and beyond. An entertaining and inspiring evening is planned, including a cocktail hour and dinner, followed by a dance party. It will be a night to remember!
