February 19 - 21, 2014
Distributed Framework and Multimedia Application (DFmA) is a prestigious conference organized by National Advanced IPv6 Centre (NAv6), in collaboration with School of Computer Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia, Université de Franche-Comté,France, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia, and Taylor’s University, Malaysia with scientific sponsor of IEEE through the IEEE Iraq Section and IEEE ComSoc Iraq Chapter.

DFmA 2014 aims to bring together researchers from academia and experts from industries around the world to present and discuss with objective of sharing knowledge and experience grounded in the research field of Next Generation Internet. Next Generation Internet (NGI/NGN) is a broad term to describe some key architectural evolutions in telecommunications core and access networks that will be deployed over the next 5-10 years. The general idea behind NGI/NGN is that one network transports all information and services (voice, data, and all sorts of media such as video) by encapsulating these into packets for communication over the Internet. It is not just about a common transport network but also the creation or development of new technologies, innovative service architectures, etc. This conference will be held in the beautiful island of Penang, Malaysia from 19-21 February 2014.

This is a multi-track conference and features a technical program with significant opportunities for individual and small-group discussions among a diverse set of participants. The technical sessions will include invited talks by leading experts, presentations of papers, demos, and specialized workshops.
