8th Sumadija Agricultural Fair

The eighth year in a row the City of Kragujevac and Sumadija Fair are hosts the largest autumn festival of agriculture in Serbia - Sumadija Agricultural Fair, from 8-11 September 2011. This event has grown over the years and developed itself, enriching the exhibition potential with the exhibition of cows, sheep, etc.. Fairs and exhibitions are complemented by pigs, horses and small animals, so they are now regional festivals and for many breeders are very important events. The number and quality of exhibitors is increasing with age, so the initial exhibition of agricultural products and machinery in the open has turn into a large fair at over 10,000 m² and tens of thousands of visitors. Exhibition space we provide for the exhibitors from home and environment in a modern, newly built hall in the fair area of 1600 m². From the moment we have got new capacities and have been able to improve the quality of the event, special attention is focused on special, professional content. The special contents are the ones that enrich every "Sumadija Agricultural Fair" and give farmers a quality educational base of different areas. A variety of agricultural experts, professors of the relevant Faculties , national and international institutions took part in the stands, presentations and round tables organized in a "Conference room" at "Sumadija Fair". These events were of the great interest for farmers and were followed by significant presence of national, regional and local media. By raising of the level of this event we have succeeded in recent years to provide support from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, with our ongoing sponsors - the City of Kragujevac.By raising of the level of this event we have succeeded in recent years to provide support from t
