The rationalization of water resources is one of the issues the Green Morocco Plan, effective policy to boost agriculture. In irrigation, the state provides for the introduction of water saving systems on 670,000 ha by 2020 against 150 000 ha today.
In the only region of Tadla Azilal, one of nine large irrigated areas of Morocco, some 126 000 farmers are involved and more than 88,000 ha should be gradually converted from gravity to localized (49,000 Ha Ha group and 39 000 in individual).
SIEITA, 1st International Exhibition of Water and Irrigation in the region Tadla Azilal, is in line with this strategy. Meeting place for all water professionals and irrigation, the exhibition brings together for 4 days the equipment, techniques and services to meet the challenges of good management and conservation of water resources Morocco.
Organized under royal initiative and in partnership with the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture, SIEITA meet from October 19 to 22, 2011 in Beni Mellal, 100 exhibitors will present an offer international and diversified to 5000 trade visitors from agriculture, local , industry and the tertiary sector.
